Timber Frame Extension in Jersey

We have just completed an 800 sq/ft Timber Frame Extension to “Bay Trees” in Jersey. This project involved fitting new floor joist to match into existing floors already in the house. We fitted all floor joists, flooring, external and internal walls to match the existing structure. We also fitted a new roof which was covered with plywood. This roof was unique as our client wanted a standing seam zinc finish and he also want a “hidden gutter” which we were able to provide for him. This job was completed in 2 weeks and that include the fitting of over 70m2 of zinc roofing. Please have a look at pictures of this project on our “Portfolio” page.

Good news for Timber Frame!

Prefabricated buildings have been given the thumbs-up in a new report commissioned by the Royal Institution of Charted Surveyors.

“Many major mortgage providers are already willing to lend against these structures, which has been a problem in the past” says Chris Goodier of Loughborough University, one of the co-authors of the report. Click the below link to read all about it.
